Pakistan: Result of Illogical Governance.

Pakistan is a result of illogical governance!Illogical pakistan Note: “Pakistan” throughout the article below refers to the government, army and militants of Pakistan and not the general public.
  • Hell on earth – Heaven in dreams : Pakistan itself and the whole world accepts that democracy is in danger in Pakistan. Islamic terror forces along with the support of their own army are governing the whole country. Their economy is in pathetic condition. Their western borders are unsecured, terrorists who have been nurtured by them keeps on reminding them about their sin from time to time by bomb blasts, the minority community doesn’t know which will be their last day and many more problems exists in Pakistan at this date. But the irony is – Their most important agenda is KASHMIR. They are hardly able to manage the land they have got, and they want more. They claim to be ready to pay any price for Kashmir. How could an elected government of a democracy be so unjust to their people? The Army Chief of Pakistan recently gave a statement that they are ready to pay any price for Kashmir. But who the hell is selling it? I have never been to Pakistan, but am sure, general public of Pakistan is not different from that of India. Their expectations from their government are not much different. I don’t believe that Kashmir is their first priority, nor they elected a government to ignore their basic needs and problems and get ready to pay price for Kashmir.
  • Home to terrorists, victim of terrorism: This victim of terrorism is home of Hafiz Sayeed, Osama Bin Laden, Kasab and many more who have been officially declared as international terrorists by US and UN. Pakistan is still not able to figure out the team they are playing from – terrorists or victim. So they keep on swinging between the two.
  • Priority order in Pakistan- Militant>Military>Kashmir>People: Pakistan is an Islamic country, with very less population of other religions. Frequent bomb blasts are taking place in Pakistan. Thousands of innocent Muslims, Hindus, Christians and all others die in these blasts. This could not move Pakistani establishment, but those 20 Muslim Militants who have been killed by Indian army in an operation in Myanmar- India border did give them a concrete issue to stand for and protest! Are the lives of their innocent citizens are less valuable than those militant? I could not understand the reason for protest. Is this because those terrorists were India’s enemy so they automatically became kins of Pakistan, or the common religion they follow which is interpreted differently by the peace loving Muslim, or is it something fishy?
  • Promise of secure future from the assassins of future – The barbaric attack on Army School in Pakistan killing around 140 kids shook the whole world, sparking new debates and jets of anger against terrorism. The whole world condemned it. It was moaned by all, irrespective of religion and nationality. Pakistan was the victim and now the world was expecting to see some drastic change in its attitude towards the terror groups. Pakistan did not let those expectations down and killed many militants in various raids across the country, specially in western borders. Unfortunately, this was momentary. This attitude did not last for long because a mother cannot be angry with her children for long.
  • Nuclear nuclear everywhere, no place to use: Being a nuclear power is an extra feather in the cap, but it cannot be the cap itself. In this era, everybody knows, practically its next to impossible to use a nuclear weapon whatsoever. Pakistan is developing nuclear weapons at the highest rate in the world. I still wonder what they will do with all those as they cannot risk their existence by nuking India nor they can nuke the terrorist.

Pakistan needs to understand, there is no shortcut to peaceful development. They need to succeed as a democracy for themselves and for the world. And this difficult task they have to do without terrorists and terrorism.

Isolate IS – Cut off Their Oxygen

IS has succeeded in creating news and conquerisising land consistently for a long period now. Their cruelty never failed to boost anger all around the world. Great mighty forces of some greatest powers have failed to uproot this force of a few thousand. IS now holds area more than that of England! Its not a country, its a terrorist group. Although it does not have organized army as that of well established countries, yet great nations have not been able to pluck it out. Syria and Iraq have declared war against it and US led coalition have been bombing their locations for more than a year now. Egyptian forces struck IS in Libya and many more operations have taken place, still IS continues to be a formidable force. Why? How to destroy them?

Each party which participated in coalition against them is either not giving in full capacity, or they are just doing the required for their security. It is right in one sense. Each nation has its internal issues in abundance to be resolved and cannot afford huge expenditures in military operations. But the world needs to understand that this is beyond internal issue of any particular country, this is now internal issue of the global village we are living in. This issue has grown to a level that it cannot be divided on the basis of countries. IS has grown to be a threat for whole humanity. We need to think of all possible alternatives to fight these brutal forces.

Why cant we cut off the oxygen supply of the fire rather than pouring water? IS is not the manufacturer of the arms, tanks etc., But they are having all of them and that too in abundance. There were news about the amount of money they are giving to their fighters. Somebody must be supplying them all those facilities and luxuries. Instead of spending billions of dollars in bombing over IS captured areas, why don’t all the nations join hands and make sure that no arm, no ammunition, nothing is being supplied or smuggled to them. Cut off their oxygen. Continuous supply of arms, funds, technology, connectivity is what keeps them going. They can access the world like any other human in free country. They have air routes, they have internet presence. Why cant we isolate them totally like a prisoner in jail and let them die.

This would not only prevent expenditure of dollars, but also more countries will join hand as this will drastically reduce risk of lives of the soldiers that nations fear to lose in direct military combat. IS is brutal, insensitive. They are not trained. But they are superior to any soldier because of their brutality and inhumanity.

Be it military or nonmilitary way, its almost sure that more and more nations need to cooperate not only in terms of treaties and MoUs but also on ground. Its not a problem of a nation or two, but of all humanity. It’s high time that all countries think about ways to get rid off this parasite. Sooner or later, eventually, all countries will be affected by them.

Kudos Army! BUT Choose words wisely…

First of all, it seems like am dreaming. Call it an act of revenge or aindian armynything, but this has made very Indian extremely proud. Army which was generally remembered and talked about during calamities and rescue operations, is all over media for its intense operation resulting in destruction of enemy, that too in other country. This is first of its type.
This has generated a kind of festival for media and politicians too, specially for the ruling party. Politicians are trying to get credit for whatever our brave commandos have achieved, commenting about what all is possible and trying to portray the future with more of such operations with even greater intensity. Everybody is claiming that more such operations will be on display in future if needed anywhere, not only in India.
I doubt this. India is surrounded by countries like Pakistan, Bhutan, China, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar. Military and diplomatic relations that India share with all countries are of different level. Such operation can be easily conducted in Nepal, Myanmar, Bhutan etc with which India holds quite friendly relations, but would that be so easy in countries like Pakistan, China and Bangladesh? Do we share that level of understanding and cooperation with these countries? And more over, even if you are thinking of conducting anything of this or higher level, is it wise to announce before hand so that they may react upon and destroy our dreams before anything starts. Why do we always tend to create controversies by making such comments despite knowing that it would not yield anything, it would not scare the neighbors who indulged in any ill activities. It would only result in war of words and alertness against any such move Indian Army may plan.
Celebration of victory is good, but media and government should resist comments like this which would increase expectations of people, when not fulfilled, people’s trust on army and government would decrease tremendously.
But, Kudos Indian Army! Proud to be Indian! (Y)
